Flareon shoulder buddy

Now THIS is another new kind of plushie I'm trying to figure out: the type that sit on your shoulder. I got the idea when I saw someone at a convention with a cyndaquil one on his shoulder. I looked up a picture of that same plush, and it had a STRING with a clip on the end that somehow attaches to your shirt. This one's different because instead of a string he has small binder clips in his front paws that clip to a shirt.

It turned out real cute and everything, but I still need to make some adjustments to the pattern before I start making these to sell. I want it to be a safe product, so I have to play around with the way I put the clips in the paws because binder clips hurt if you put them on your finger, you know...But I still want them to hold on tight enough so that the plushie doesn't fall off and get lost.


Materials used: Fur, black and white felt, hot glue (to attach face and inner ears. I kind of cheaped out this time...), binder clips in front paws, plastic pellets, fiberfill
Size: About 7" long
Time spent: I'm guessing about 1.5-2 hours, because I made this one pretty fast.
This isn't for sale because it's kind of a prototype.
