I went to a mall a few days ago and I saw these backpacks shaped like stuffed animal. I studies the way they were sewn together so I could figure out a good pattern because I wanted to make a pokemon backpack for myself.
This flareon backpack is different from all of my other backpacks I've made so far because a) the zipper is kind of on the back of the flareon's neck instead of running straight down the back like my other backpacks, and b) One end of the straps are attached to the head instead of the shoulders (Which I might start doing in the future because that way the head isn't floppy when you wear it.)
So this was my first pokemon backpack, and I like how it turned out, despite the fact that I redid the head once and had to move the shoulder straps to the head.
And I would've made the yellow parts fluffy, but I couldn't find any yellow fur fabric. :/
I know some of these pics are kind of ugly because I had nothing but MS PAINT to edit them. Normally I use Photoshop to resize/crop/arrange them, but I'm on vacation so I don't have access to Photoshop. >_<
